Principal's Message

September 2009

On behalf of the staff of North Toronto C.I., I want to welcome you to an exciting, new school year. I look forward to watching our students excel in academic, leadership, athletic and extra-curricular endeavours. I continue to be extremely proud of the work demonstrated by the staff and students at NT. This year we will continue to work hard to prove that there is no finer high school in Toronto or anywhere!

2009-2010 will be a thrilling but bittersweet year. We will say goodbye to our current, beloved facility and move into our new, state-of-the-art school next spring. Along with our tradition of academic success and a strong extra-curricular program we will continue to develop the Global Education Certificate program, an Eco-School ("Green") focus and work towards our 100th anniversary and reunion.

Welcome to our new students as well as to our returning students. I hope the year ahead will offer you a challenging and engaging academic experience as well as a fun and valuable extra-curricular program. Please get involved in school life and take advantage of the many opportunities that the NT staff will provide for you.

In advance, I want to thank NT parents. Without your support we would not be as successful as we are. Please get involved with the School Council as your thoughts and guidance are valued and appreciated.
